Collective Portrait

silver salts on fiber papers, 50x60cm

2015 - work in progress

Various people are put individually in front of the camera, each during a same period of time, following the compromise of a portrait, and the light they reflect burns the film throughout time, person after person. It is thus captured the accumulation of light reflections that define the presence of the bodies in that space, imprisoning them in one same medium. It is obtained a collective portrait, from which a figure that goes beyond concrete appears – a figure that is no one, but all.
